Designer Marisa Bistany Perkins bought and renovated a 1920s Normandy-style home.
She wanted more space (and a much-needed mudroom) for her family and rescue dogs adopted through Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue.
The footprint of the house stayed intact, except for the kitchen, which was bumped out four feet. Cabinetry is by Christopher Peacock. The bar stools are Wesley Hall through Schwartz Design Showroom, and the flush mount fixtures are from Circa Lighting.
In a sitting area off the kitchen, a Phillip Jeffries faux fur covers the walls.
Architect Krist Dodaro, who collaborated with Perkins, designed a pool and pool house to look as if they’ve been with the house forever.
The umbrellas are from Pottery Barn; wicker furniture is Kingsley Bate through Patio.com.
The decorative pillows are from Serena & Lily. Outdoor plants in containers are from Nielsen’s Florist.
By the fireplace, armchairs from Privet House in an Osborne & Little fabric flank a Formations ottoman also through Privet House.
More Phillip Jeffries wall coverings on walls and ceiling infuse the dining room with a subtle glow. The table is through Lillian August, and the lanterns are from Urban Electric. The rug is from Palace Oriental Rug of Wilton.
The headboard in the master bedroom are crafted from the same Kravet textile from the Jeffrey Alan Marks collection. Antique lamps top night stands through Oly Studio.
An antique chair from Privet House in a Kravet Groundworks fabric sits under a gold mirror from Arteriors.
