The Woodland Furniture breakfast table is surrounded by chairs from Bausman & Company upholstered in Andrew Martin fabric (backs) and John Hutton woven rush (seats) with Samuel & Sons trim. The lantern above the table is from Ann Morris Antiques.
Interior designer John Eason helped commission Christianson Lee Studios to create a dining-room mural of the campus of West Point (the homeowner’s alma mater). The silver tea service is from Aire del Sur; demilune console table is from Scott Thomas Furniture.
The room features a Niermann Weeks dining table surrounded by chairs covered in Zimmer + Rohde and Schumacher fabrics trimmed with cord from Clarence House. The lanterns are from Holly Hunt; the area rug is from Stark.
The house is complemented by landscaping, a pool area and a vine-topped pergola by Glen Gate.
The entry is furnished with an Empire-style pedestal table from William Switzer and a love seat covered in Stroheim & Romann fabric. The carpet runner is from Stark; vintage glass vase is from Culture Object.
In the library, the designer chose a navy blue Baker chair upholstered in a Loro Piana wool, complemented by a sofa from Charles Stewart Company covered in a striped Zimmer + Rohde velvet.
The ceiling features a scene by Anne Harris Painting of the Gettysburg battlefield, where the homeowner’s ancestor fought (and survived).
In the living room, custom embroidery by Penn & Fletcher is the finishing touch on the leading edge of curtains made of a Bengal House silk lined with Fabricut cotton.
Eason indulged in color and pattern with a pair of Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman love seats in a Lee Jofa striped velvet set on a Stark carpet. A Dessin Fournir armchair wears a Lee Jofa striped linen. The Keith Fritz mirror above the mantel is from John Rosselli & Associates.
In the boys’ bedroom, Simon Horn sleigh beds flank a Julian Chichester dresser with red leather pulls. Jonathan Adler needlepoint pillows top Ralph Lauren Home bedding. Polished nickel ceiling fixture is from Visual Comfort.
The master bedroom is marked by a separate seating area with Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman slipper chairs and ottoman. Rosecore area rug is through Carpet Trends.
Leading to the master suite, Designtex suede wall covering lines the hallway and upholstery tacks add an unexpected detail. The chandelier is from Niermann-Weeks; the striped rug is by Elizabeth Eakins.
