Here’s the story of a Malibu house that just hit the market. Months after HGTV famously snagged the home that served as the backdrop for the hilarious and heartwarming 70’s sitcom, The Brady Bunch, Barry Williams, better known as eldest son Greg Brady, has decided to let go of his very own 1974-built home. Located in the beautiful Malibu Cove Colony, this beachfront property was purchased by Williams’ parents in 1972. For the next two years, the teen actor helped build their house alongside his real-life siblings in between shooting the final two seasons of the show. The all-around talent hopes to sell the three-bedroom, four-bathroom residence for $6.375 million.Walk into the gorgeous 2,808-square foot beach house to see a beautiful courtyard entry and be greeted by rays of sunlight, splashing in through the double height glass walls that overlook the dazzling Pacific Ocean. An open floor plan creates seamless flow from the living area to the dining area and into the large kitchen. Wood beamed ceilings and a soaring stone fireplace seem like unusually rustic elements for a beach house, but here, they fit and add personality to the space. The expansive oceanfront deck truly puts the home over the top. With ample room to lounge in the sun or enjoy breakfast in the brisk salty air, the deck offers picturesque views and the perfect vantage point to watch the colorful sunset every night.Don’t forget to check out Barry Williams and the rest of the Brady Bunch later this year when HGTV premieres its new show about the Brady Bunch home. Mansion Global reports that the TV network is shooting the show with home renovation and reunion angles.Shen Schulz of Sotheby’s International Realty and Sandro Dazzan of The Agency hold the breathtaking Malibu listing.
