For superstar singer Cher, her Miami manse is proof that there is life after love—real estate love, that is. This home—where the singer lived during the ’90s, the same decade she released some of her hit singles—sits in the La Gorce enclave near North Beach. Buyer Brent Saunders, former CEO of Botox producer Allergan, purchased the waterfront mansion for $35,350,000.
Saunders must “believe in life after love,” as the Beauty Health Co.’s executive chairman recently listed his own Miami spot. His Venetian Islands contemporary is still on the market, for nearly half of what he paid for his new home.
Now back to the main attraction, Saunders’ new circa-1995 Mediterranean-style home emphasizes a seamless flow between indoors and out. Rounded archways, large windows, and stucco finishes bring a Spanish charm to the abode, while clean furnishings and updated features make for a modern living experience. Spanning 12,450 square-feet, there is no shortage of space or convenience. Whether Saunders fancies hosting dinner parties in the contemporary kitchen, al fresco dining outdoors, or becoming a mixologist at the Art Deco-inspired wet bar, the possibilities are endless.
A total of six bedrooms and six bathrooms round out the home’s private spaces. The primary suite is a private oasis, complete with a sitting room, marble finishes in the ensuite bathroom, and a balcony capturing waterfront views. Additional amenities of the property include a fitness studio, cold plunge, and a spa.
Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman represented the seller while Raissa Enis, also of Douglas Elliman, represented Saunders in the pricey sale.
