Ellen DeGeneres Flips and Sells Another Gorgeous Mansion in Los Angeles

At this point, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi should win awards for their real estate prowess and multitasking. Seriously, who else can flip as many homes as they can–all while balancing their duties as a talk show host and actress? This time, the couple sold a beautiful Beverly Hills modern perched above LA for $15.5 million. Although this seems like a nice win, it’s far from the $18 million they originally listed the mansion for after nabbing it for $15 million, and with all the updates they may have made, it’s impossible to know if they turned a profit at all.

Exuding laid back yet sleek California modern style, this five-bedroom, 4.5-bath house has the feel of a superhero’s lair. Huge walls of windows and glass doors show off dazzling city views and lead you right to the sumptuous outdoor spaces.

The covered patio with glamorous lighting is truly spectacular. With room for multiple chic seating areas, the new owners will hardly ever want to be inside. If the celebrity couple had decided to keep the home, this patio would no doubt have big names like known friends Jennifer Aniston or Barack Obama out there enjoying the city views. Of course, the open interiors are equally divine and primed for entertaining with style.

There’s not a thing in the 5,000-square-foot residence to complain about. DeGeneres and de Rossi may not always get price they want, but they certainly have amazing taste in home.

Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency represented DeGeneres and de Rossi and the buyers were brought Stephen Resnick of Hilton & Hyland. Mansion Global first reported the recent sale.
