Emmanuel Acho is a very busy man—the former NFL linebacker anchors on FOX Sports, hosted The Bachelor: After the Final Rose this year (replacing Chris Harrison), and started the popular video series Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man. He’s also authored a book of the same name. As the rising star no doubt continues on with more ventures, it never hurts to have a beautiful home in LA. Acho recently nabbed a modern not far from the Sunset Strip. Closing on this house and the land next door for $6.325 million, he gained a prime piece of the Hollywood Hills.
Set behind a private gate and high above Downtown LA—meaning there are stunning views of the Los Angeles skyline—the home feels wed to the city it overlooks down to the very bones. With a wide-open floor plan, an abundance of balconies, and walls of glass to rival whatever crystalline palace of architectural history or lore that comes to mind first, the views are a focal point of nearly every experience one might have here. Looking outside, the pool, lounging areas, and meditation garden may especially beckon when Acho wants to unwind and relax after long days.
While there’s plenty of room in the existing house, the retired NFL player, host, and author could also expand into the land he acquired. At the very least, nabbing adjacent grounds has secured him a bit of extra privacy.
Brooke A. Elliott of the Aaron Kirman Group at Compass handled the listing, while Kennon Earl of Rare Properties at Compass represented Acho.
