
Last month, we reported that the 41-acre horse farm Johnny Depp owned since 1995 was going up for auction. Bidding expectations were in the $2.5 million rage, according to The Lexington Herald-Leader, however, top bid only reached $1.4 million.
The million-dollar bid came from radio personality Rick Dees of Rick Dees Weekly Top 40. Dees was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina and currently owns a large farm in the same state as Depp’s Lexington, Kentucky property.
Depp has recently sold four Los Angles penthouses, the most expensive of which sold for $3.09 million.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor also owns Depp also owns a 45-acre private Bahaman island in addition to a 37-acre compound in the south of France.
