Hadlow Tower has enchanted lovers of architecture and fairytales for centuries, and now it’s available as a residential home for a minimum price of £2M, or $2.6 million in USD. The tower looms high at 175 feet and holds the title of Britain’s tallest folly. The origins of the tower are marred with scandal, according to Country Life magazine. Stories claim that in the 1838 a jealous husband built the structure to the existing castle to keep watch on his unfaithful wife who had left him for another man.The tower resides outside of London and is equipped for lavish royal living. With almost 3,500 square-feet the eight-floor tower has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen and home cinema. An elevator is available between the ground floor and the fourth floor, but to go any higher guests must use the modernized spiral staircase.Strutt & Parker has the listing, which also includes a private garden and access to the communal grounds of Hadlow Castle.
