SMI Landscape Architecture Rear Courtyard and Garden
Designed by SMI Landscape Architects, this outdoor space is a serene oasis. The walls of the courtyard are decorated with vine patterned lattice panels in Benjamin Moore’s Aegan Teal from Fuller Architectural Panels. To add to the lively design, a pebble mosaic koi pond made of crushed terracotta brick takes center stage.
Alexandra Naranjo Closet
Designed by Alexandra Naranjo of Alexandra Naranjo Designs, the guest closet is enveloped in a whimsical chinoiserie-inspired wallpaper. Additional elements continue the turquoise and lavender color palette throughout. The simple two separate closet systems by The Container Store allows the bold patterns and colors to shine.
Amy Morris Guest Suite
Dubbed as the “The Guest Retreat,” Morris designed a coastal-inspired space with character and charm. The Shade Store’s Ripple Fold Drapery with custom Thibaut Arboreta in Spa Blue fabric adds a light feel to the bold and dramatic bed canopy.
Anna Braund Loggia
Inspired by her travels to Morocco, Braund designed an exotic space that embraces its incredible views. The custom striped drapery from The Shade Store create a magical indoor outdoor feel. Unique pieces such as a Restoration Hardware swing-arm floor lamp and Bungalow Classic rattan chairs, the otherwise formal design transforms into an irresistible space to relax and rewind.
Benjamin Deaton Living Room
Deaton opted for simple white window treatments, which beautifully contrast with the bold red trim. He says “Window treatments are important in establishing the mood and tone of a room,” which is why these delicate pieces are a key part of the living room’s light atmosphere.
Brittany Bromley Guest Bedroom
With various French-inspired elements against a soft color palette, designer Brittany Bromley curated a feminine sanctuary with Palm Beach flair. Deluxe silk window treatments from The Shade Store frame a spectacular waterfront view and accentuate the floral wallpaper and checkered bed frame.
Casa Gusto Foyer, Staircase and Hallway
Mint millwork welcomes guests into this refreshingly bright space. Black wrought iron spindles lead the eyes up to the second level hallway where Briger makes use of drapery from The Shade Store in an unexpected way. Briger explains the important of window treatments saying, “It is like frosting on the cake, which can take something ordinary and completely change it.”
Courtney Giles Primary Bedroom
Atlanta-based Courney Giles designed a room that embodies the South Florida location with a vibrant overall tone. The sandy hues and palm tree wallpaper immediately transport you to the waves crashing on the shore. The woven wood shades and pair of elegant tailored drapery from The Shade Store merely add to the beachy feel with a sophisticated undertone.
Ellen Kavanaugh Balcony
There’s nothing like an outdoor bar to put you in the party mood. The minimalist bar makes a bold statement against the blush sea shells and a reed wall as well as the intricate decorations.
Fernando Wong Pool Terrace
This pink paradise is a vivacious space to enjoy the wondrous outdoors and the company of friends and family. Pink parasol umbrellas compliment the patio’s pink hue and surrounding greenery. Wong also included a pink tabletop for the patio set, so guests can enjoy their poolside dinner.
Forbes+Masters Powder Room
Designers Tavia Forbes and Monet Masters collaborated to create this streamlined gray powder room. The Kohler Veil Pedestal Bathroom Sink and DTV + Digital Showering System, exude a futuristic quality. The use of plants adds life to the particularly grey space.
Harry Heissmann Primary Vestibule
In collaboration with artsist Staszek Kotowski, a grisaille mural of a family of ostriches was designed to stretch the length of the hallway. Adjacent to the monochrome artwork lives an illuminated bar nook. With a similar trim, the bar nook and hallway design blend with ease.
HW Interiors Utility room
Lisa Hynes of HW Interiors describes this space as “where laundry meets luxury.” The versatile utility room uses neutral tones and natural wood to create an organic look. The brass Kohler faucet pops in comparison to the room’s white window treatment from The Shade Store.
Kemble Interiors Guest Bedroom
This enchanted woodland bedroom is the perfect escape from the hectic world. The grass floor covering from Synthetic Turf Treasure Coast, LLC and metal bed from Kemble Interiors curate the bedroom’s forest-like and whimsical atmosphere. The effects of the window shutters by Fuller Architectural Panels enhances the majestic aura.
Lorna Gross Dining Room
The delightful dining room by Lorna Gross Interior Design layers various antique, vintage and handcrafted pieces to create a rich atmosphere for mealtime. Every detail guides the eye to the next in a graceful and exciting way. Especially with numerous mirrors mounted throughout, the room’s beauty is seen in every direction.
Mally Skok Second Floor Seating Area
At first glance, Skok explains how she was immediately drawn to the window. “The sun pours into the room, and it seemed like a lovely spot to take a quiet pause in the day, read, or make phone calls away from the general hubbub of the household.” Skok’s new Secret Temple custom valance (with the help from The Shade Store) and wallpaper enhances the energetic style.
Mark Williams Design Kitchen
Mark Williams stylized the room around the expansive window that looks out into the courtyard. Stylish white oak cabinetry is accented by red tiled wall and flooring for a dynamic design. Stainless steel faucets from Kohler add to the kitchen’s simplistic yet elevated feel.
Mikel Welch Family Room
Welch opted for a modest color palette for a fresh and modernized look. Welch’s design choices, such as the floor-to-ceiling shades from The Shade Store and a plush couch “encourages guests to come to sit and stay for a while.”
Nicole White Primary Bathroom and Closet
The moody matte black shower from Kohler effortlessly blends with the reflective bronze 3D tile and wooden tile. Mirrors with matching black trim create a consistent and sophisticated look. In the glamorous and luxurious closet, a custom silk rug by New Moon Rugs ties in the dramatic wall mural and lighting fixture.
Nina Magon Guest Bedroom
Pretty in pink, this bedroom layers shades of blush to create a dreamy atmosphere. Custom window treatments from The Shade Store emphasize the tall ceilings while creating a comfy feel. Light radiating from the floors draws attention to the custom bed frame.
