It seems like the allegations against Matt Lauer are hitting home, yet again. This time he’s selling his weekday Manhattan residence. The disgraced former news anchor has been making headlines in real estate quite a bit lately. Since being fired from the Today show in November, he’s shaved millions off of his sprawling Hamptons estate and has received heat in regard to his New Zealand ranch. Now, he’s listed the very apartment where his former boss at NBC personally delivered the news of his termination due to inappropriate sexual misconduct. The eleven-room boutique co-op in the Upper East Side just hit the market for $7.35 million. It’s situated on the idyllic tree-lined East 64th street, a short commute away from NBC studios. Its library offers both southern and eastern-facing views and is adjacent to a powder room boasting hand rubbed Venetian plaster. The living room is both cozy and elegant with a wood-burning fireplace and parquet hardwood floors. High ceilings, custom bookshelves and a private elevator are other welcome benefits. The master bedroom has two generous changing rooms and both his and hers master bathrooms done completely in marble. There also appears to be a fitness room accessible directly from the master.A chef’s dream, the kitchen has two stoves, two wine refrigerators, plenty of storage space with room left over for a kitchen table. Two guest bedrooms both have bathrooms en suite, and the fourth is currently serving as an office space but could easily be converted to a bookish guestroom.Though Lauer used this property as his weekday home, while his now-estranged wife lived in the Hamptons, it clearly has potential to be either a full-time family home or a swanky bachelor or bachelorette pad.Alexa Lambert, Marc Achilles, and Julie Soffen of Stribling have the listing, which was first reported by Page Six.
