Meg Ryan’s ultra-stylish SoHo loft has entered contract, so it appears that a lucky buyer will soon be enjoying the 4,100-square-foot spread, which boasts a country-charm-meets-city-glam style and an enviable location on Mercer Street in the heart of SoHo. A self-professed renovation addict, the actress bought the unit for $8M in 2008 and enlisted the help of architect Joel Barkley and designer Monique Gibson to give it a complete renovation and refresh. It was featured on the cover of Architectural Digest after the renovations were completed.
Ryan told AD that the Mercer Street loft was her ninth project, so it’s likely that she’s on the hunt for her tenth. Her son, Jack, has nicknamed her process “Meg-anizing” and we’re anxious to see what she’ll Meg-anize next, a mystery since Curbed reports that the LLC she used to purchase the Mercer Street home is not yet tied to any other New York properties.
The apartment hit the market asking $10.9M in February. Corcoran’s Barbara Hochhauser represents the listing.
