Mindy Kaling’s longtime Los Angeles home in the desirable Beverly Grove neighborhood is on the market asking $2.2M. The actress, whose pregnancy was reported last week, paid $1.58M for the house nearly 10 years ago and tried to sell it once before in 2013.
The 4-bedroom Spanish-style home spans 2,674 square feet, which, according to the listing, is unusually large for this neighborhood. The home is bursting with vintage details including a barrel ceiling in the formal dining room, arched doorways and wrought iron fixtures. There is a modern kitchen with a stone tile floor and stainless steel appliances and a master suite that features a dressing room. The backyard has a sunny patio and renovated garage that is currently used as a gym. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ Ed Solorzano represents the listing, which the Observer reported.
Although she is selling this home, we don’t imagine that Kaling will need to do any house hunting. She already owns a home in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles—which was recently featured in Architectural Digest—and a chic loft in Nolita designed by The Studio at One Kings Lane. Both homes are endlessly stylish, so we can’t wait to see how she decorates a nursery!
