Paul Masi, of Sag Harbor–based Bates Masi + Architects, lined his Amagansett home in cedar boards fastened with custom stainless-steel clips; crushed bluestone lines the perimeter.
In the living/dining area, a pair of De La Espada leather-upholstered chairs and a sofa from Room sit atop a vintage rug, and a suite of Catenary chairs from Token surrounds a walnut dining table, also from De La Espada. A skylight illuminates the kitchen’s weathered-steel and oak island.
White oak bookshelves are recessed into a cedar wall in the den, which features a built-in banquette and a Gandia Blasco rug.
A custom Brendan Ravenhill light fixture fills the center volume of the home’s white oak staircase.
The walls are lined in weathered steel.
In the master bathroom, a Carrara marble wall acts as a backdrop to a pair of Robert Sonneman mini-dome pendants, a Bates Masi–designed vanity, and a sheepskin rug; sliding doors lead to an outdoor shower.
Works by Antonio Masi hang above the master bedroom’s custom mahogany bed frame.
The kids’ bathroom also features a Carrara marble vanity top and Robert Sonneman pendants.
The guest room is furnished with a Copeland Furniture bed frame, a Knoll bench, and a West Elm area rug.
A son’s bedroom includes bedding from the Land of Nod and bunk beds from DucDuc; the beanbag chair is from Restoration Hardware.
A wall of sliding doors from Arcadia opens to the backyard’s bluestone-lined pool.
