Situated on a picturesque salt marsh, the home’s original appeal was the view, privacy and proximity to town.
Floor to ceiling windows enhance the indoor-outdoor connection, and open railings on the deck allow for views to the marsh from RH chairs.
Architect Christopher Arelt designed the front door, and Custom Cut Interiors fabricated the pivoting ebonized white oak, anodized aluminum, glass and stainless steel inlay portal. The painting is by Shelton Walsmith.
An ET2 lighting fixture casts a glow over the dining room table; dining chairs and bar stools are by M.A.D. Furniture Design.
Cabinets by Custom Cut Interiors feature Häfele pulls. A Hansgrohe faucet tops an undermount Elkay sink beneath a Marvin picture window.
A hood shroud from 21 Bridge Design and a hood liner from Best Range Hoods back a BlueStar range.
A series of images by photographer/homeowner Michael Elsden lines one wall of the gallery, where an antique bar billiards table sits by a partial floating wall that separates the space from the dining room.
The home’s remodeled entry features an ipe bridge and porch, and custom aluminum raised beds.
Arelt dubbed the custom lighting feature composed of lights from West Elm in the living room Cosmic Yam. The Le Corbusier sofa or LC3 is from Design Within Reach, the upholstered chair is from Room & Board, and the rug is from RH.
In the master bathroom, a Runtal towel heater is conveniently located alongside a Victoria & Albert tub. The vanity features ebonized white oak cabinets topped with concrete, faucets by Dornbracht and WAC lighting. Floor tile is through Stone Source.
The Dornbracht tub filler is offset with glass tile from the Stone Source.
