A Retired Tech CEO Seeks $65M for His Rolls Royce-Inspired Florida Estate

There’s no escaping the wow factor inside this $65 million South Florida estate. Owned by Barry Smith, the former CEO of healthcare company Magellan Health, this Delray Beach estate known as Villa Spectre is seeking a buyer for $65 million. The neighborhood has also attracted some familiar names, including Mark Wahlberg, who reportedly purchased a $37 million Aldo Stark-developed estate there in 2025.

The nearly 22,000-square-foot home sits on 2.5 lakefront acres in Stone Creek Ranch. Designed and developed by Aldo Stark of Prestige Design Homes, the residence takes its cues from the craftsmanship and engineering of Rolls-Royce. That influence comes into focus in the climate-controlled automotive gallery, where seven cars can be displayed like works of art from an executive office overlooking the space.

The glamour carries well beyond the car collection. Stone and marble details appear throughout the interiors, joined by gleaming surfaces, dramatic lighting and expanses of glass. Curved white furnishings meet reflective gold-toned tables in one soaring living space, while richly finished bathrooms layer marble, dark stone and sculptural lighting. The scale continues outside with a 95-foot pool, while a Bulgari-inspired wellness spa brings another pool indoors alongside a Himalayan salt room, steam room and sauna. Six bedroom suites include two primary retreats.

“What makes Villa Spectre so extraordinary is that it was conceived as a true one-of-one estate,” says Senada Adžem of Douglas Elliman. “From its 2.5 acres of lakefront grounds and nearly 22,000 square feet of living space to a seven-car gallery designed for a world-class automobile collection, every detail reflects an exceptional level of craftsmanship and personalization.”

With its bold interiors, sprawling grounds and car-centric design, Villa Spectre is looking for its next owner at $65 million through Senada Adžem of Douglas Elliman.
