He was born and raised on Staten Island, which is part of the reason he’s now listing his Westchester County “paradise.” Following the birth of his daughter with model Elsie Hewitt, the comedian has made this bittersweet decision to part with this six-acre North Salem residence in order to live closer to his family.
Davidson listed the bucolic property centered by a remodeled, 1930s home this month for $2.275 million. According to Mansion Global, he purchased the peaceful spot in 2023 for $1.95 million and has enjoyed it fully. Located 90 minutes from the city, he could find an ideal work-life balance here yet still clock in when necessary. For example, the comedian recorded his Netflix podcast in the home’s garage and even shot a commercial for Crocs at his marshy oasis.
He went on an extensive search to find the right home and has truly cherished it, sharing with Mansion Global, “It’s literally like living in paradise.”
A full-time NYC existence was getting to be too much for him as he went on to tell the publication, “The thing I hated about living in the city all the time was, I would wake up to so much noise, whether it would be garbage being picked up or people fighting or your neighbors or whatever’s going on on the street. In North Salem, I would wake up naturally, and I wouldn’t feel a thing; it was the most special feeling.”
