Actor Mike Myers Says Goodbye to His Full-Floor Chelsea Penthouse

Mike Myers is famous for a variety of roles in movies, ranging from the hilarious Austin Powers to his iconic voicing of Shrek, and of course, Wayne Campbell in Wayne’s World. The actor’s NYC home might not be as groovy as Austin Powers’ colorful and psychedelic style, but it’s modern and bright look has finally reeled in a buyer.

The Chelsea penthouse with ample outdoor space just changed hands after quite a ride on the market. Myers initially listed the High Line apartment in 2023 for $20 million and gave it a price cut in the fall, then relisted it this past April for $17.5 million. In late September, the 5,622-square-foot unit finally sold for $16.75 million, which still may leave Myer with a nice profit. According to the Wall Street Journal, the movie star purchased it in 2017 for $15.35 million.

Artfully designed by Thomas Juul Hansen, a Danish architect known for creating sleek atmospheres, the luxurious pad is defined by its clean lines and open floor plan. Walls of glass capture panoramic views of the city and soak the spaces in light, while also opening to two splendid terraces. The new owner can also enjoy the residence’s four bedrooms, moody yet modern chef’s kitchen filled with custom cabinetry, wellness sauna, and two key-locked elevators leading down to all the restaurants, art galleries, and high-end shopping of the area.

Leonard Steinberg of Compass held the listing.
