Now that he’s locked that down, it seems a second home in Florida was the perfect celebratory splurge. The shortstop’s lavish 8,305-square-foot mansion in a gated community is definitely what you picture when thinking of luxurious living for a high-profile athlete. It has six bedrooms and seven and a half baths, so teammates can join the star for Miami excursions. Interiors are bathed in sunlight due to floor-to-ceiling windows, and gifted with views of the scenic Miami skyline from the all bedrooms.The one-acre property is equipped for all sorts of fun in the sun.
