Ben Carson Just Bought a $1.22M Washington D.C. Home

Back when Ben Carson listed his Florida home for $1.2M, we speculated that his appointment as secretary of Housing and Urban Development might cause him to make the move to Washington, D.C. It turns out our suspicions were correct: Mansion Global reports that he dropped $1.22M on a house in Vienna, VA, just outside Washington, D.C. The house was listed for $1.599M, so Carson and his wife were able to snap it up for a discount. Built in 1993, it has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and features ornate details such as double-height ceilings in the living spaces, interior columns and a spa-like master bathroom.
