Beyoncé and Jay-Z Once Rented This Martha’s Vineyard Compound Asking Nearly $14M

If you’ve been dreaming of a summer getaway for next year, an A-list celebrity-approved Martha’s Vineyard property is up for sale. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have rented this ultimate 21-acre vacation spread, as has Mariah Carey, according to the New York Post. Maybe one of them will be tempted to scoop it up for good now, as the home has come to market seeking $13.75 million.

The two-lot listing totals 11 bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms, and 2 partial bathrooms, all while boasting a main shingle-style residence, a guest cottage, an authentic Amish barn, a pool house, and a pond.

The main house was originally built in 1994 by renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern, with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Natural light, exposed beams, and various fireplaces bring a sense of warmth to the large home. Plenty of spaces for gathering—like a sun-drenched breakfast nook, spacious dining room, screened-in porch, and swimming pool—are sure to accommodate the many guests that will likely flock to the Massachusetts property.

While Martha’s Vineyard is known for its quiet quintessential New England summers, celebrities are not shy about vacationing on the island. Diane Sawyer is currently looking for a buyer to scoop up her $24 million compound and the Obama’s also bought a place on the island after frequently renting there. Needless to say, the buyer of this Edgartown property will be in good company.

For those “Crazy in Love” with this listing, Michael Carucci of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty and Tom Wallace of Wallace & Co. Sotheby’s International Realty represent  the island stunner.
