Inside the Design District boutique, bursting with color and design.
Cartier’s Miami flagship has reopened in the city’s vibrant Design District, where luxury and creativity converge. The boutique’s undulating glass facade by Diller Scofidio + Renfro beckons shoppers, while Laura Gonzalez’s (who is also behind New York’s Cartier Mansion and the newly opened Printemps) playful interiors invite guests into a world of color, craftsmanship, and modern elegance. The store is open everyday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

Longtime Cartier collaborators Diller Scofidio + Renfro brought the exterior to life. “Etched on its surface is a pattern adapted from a 1909 Cartier brooch, which produces a diaphanous effect, allowing views into the store while preserving its sense of mystique,” says Founding Partner Elizabeth Diller.

“I imagined the store as a sensory journey. Each space evokes a different emotion: vitality and movement at the entrance, intimacy in the VIP lounges on the first floor, conviviality on the terrace with its welcoming, custom-made wavy benches. The entire journey is designed as a succession of landscapes intended to arouse curiosity and wonder,” says designer Laura Gonzalez.
