Before she built her famed waterpark estate in Jupiter, FL, Céline Dion built this more “modest” nine-bedroom, 14-bathroom (three are half baths) estate. The singer nabbed the .66-acre lot in 1996 for just $625,000.
She created a resort-like estate, complete with 14,000-square-feet under air conditioning of expansive living spaces, dramatic architecture, and grand entertaining areas. Think: a private theater, wine cellar, mahogany-wrapped library, resort-style pool, and private dock. The checkerboard turf patio echoes the black and white marble checkerboard floor in the expansive entryway.
According to record, her heart went on in 2002, when the residence sold for $9 million. After years of attempts to sell in the 2010s, it finally sold again at a loss for $5.725 million in 2017. Now, it’s regained its value selling off-market for $12.5 million.
This most-recent buyer has been identified as prominent real estate investor Myron Miller. Known for his high-end residential flips, we have a feeling we’ll be seeing this listing again soon.
Miller is represented by Willie Abreu of The Nicolas Group at SERHANT, while the seller at 370 Eagle Drive is represented by Rob Thomson with Waterfront Properties.
