Celtics Star Jaylen Brown Just Listed His Industrial-Cool Boston Penthouse

Everyone in Boston knows the name Jaylen Brown, that is, if they’re plugged into sports. The Celtics star lead his team to win the NBA Championship this year and was also awarded the Larry Bird Trophy, which is given to the MVP of the NBA’s Eastern Conference. On a hot streak to say the least, the high-performing seller likely hopes his Boston penthouse will be a winner with buyers now that it has listed for $4.75 million.

Set atop a circa-1916 building, the 2,964-square-foot condo with three bedrooms is a stylish, youthful space fit for a star athlete. Centered around the extensive use of exposed brick, wood beams, and clean lines, the design presents an interesting combination of modern freshness and industrial warmth. The heart of the home is one large open space, making it easy to imagine hosting casual team gatherings or more formal affairs looking out to the city. The kitchen exists in this open area, boasting standout features like stainless-steel appliances and eye-catching metallic orbs on the wall that match the silver, reflective look of the light fixtures.

The wooden beams and brick weave forward into all the bedrooms, making the whole residence feel cohesive, as well as the basketball decor ranging from the seller’s jerseys to playfully placed basketballs. Another defining element is the immense amount of natural light. Each bedroom has a large window, spanning more than half the wall, but the primary suite is certainly most captivating with its cavernous size. For even more of an escape, the rooftop deck with a fire pit offers a sleek perch above the city’s busyness.

Since achieving some huge successes this year, Brown made many public appearances, like recently attending the ESPYS, but he will not be on team USA’s upcoming Olympic roster. George Sarkis at Douglas Elliman holds the NBA forward’s listing.
