Comedian Whitney Cummings Cuts the Price of Her Mediterranean-Style L.A. Oasis with Interiors by Jake Arnold

Comedian Whitney Cummings is selling her beautiful Los Angeles estate, which looks like a hillside paradise. She first listed the spread on January 16 and it has already received a $2 million price cut. Now, the asking price rests at $10,995,000.

While the reason the celeb has listed the Woodland Hills gem is unknown, she was vocal while grappling with the devastating Los Angeles wildfires at the start of this year. The star had to evacuate her home, which luckily made it through in the end. In a January 7 Instagram post, she wrote “LAFD [and] just all fire fighters, thank you. Gonna be a wild couple days. As I seriously consider moving out of California I remember these heroes don’t think that way.” Cummings home hit the market roughly a week later.

While she is moving on, the residence is a treat on the market. Cummings scooped up the home in 2019 for $4.3 million and invested in making it beautiful. Under the comedian’s ownership, it was revamped by interior designer by Jake Arnold and featured in Architectural Digest. The Mediterranean-style architecture opens to warm, contemporary interiors filled with warm neutrals and organic elements. A plaster spiral staircase and a state-of-the-art kitchen are just a couple of the highlights. In the primary suite, a private deck and an en-suite bathroom with a Belgian soaking tub steal the show.

The 6,830-square-foot home sits on four acres, situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in a gated community. The property’s location protects it well from the Santa Ana winds and is close to a Los Angeles Fire Department helipad, should another emergency arise.

Adam Rosenfeld and Jon Grauman of the Grauman Rosenfeld Group at The Agency, who both star on Netflix’s Selling Beverly Hills, share the listing,
