A shingled Sagaponack traditional has been turned into a sleek, multilevel contemporary home, an appropriate canvas for designer Tara Seawright’s modern way of looking at things.
A Lucite coffee table, sofa, and armchair from Homenature form an inviting seating area in the living room.
The artwork is by Kollabs. The resin-pebble backsplash in the kitchen is from Artistic Tile, a fitting complement to the shell-encrusted vintage chandeliers that hang above the custom Corian island. The faucet is by Dornbracht and the range and hood are by Wolf.
An oak refectory table from Mecox is the centerpiece of the dining room, along with a suite of vintage chairs from R. E. Steele Antiques and a pair of Kartell Ghost chairs.
The library features a Pico capiz-shell cocktail table from Oly, a Crate & Barrel sectional, and a side chair upholstered in coral patent leather.
Ikea bunk beds and a vintage coral-drawered dresser add a playful note to the boys’ bedroom.
A white patent-leather bench, tufted headboard, and dewdrop chandelier add subtle drama to the master bedroom, as does Sam Seawright’s 2014 Winter Wisteria.
Marble mosaic tile from Artistic Tile covers the walls and floor of the master bath.
The guest room’s accent pillows are from All Modern and the throw is from ABC Carpet & Home.
The poolside chaises and sofa are by Dedon ; the towels are from T. J. Maxx.
