After all, May is the perfect time to market such properties as a savvy seller since eager buyers are on the prowl for homes to purchase in time to enjoy Hamptons high season. But, while Alec Baldwin put a new price on his Amagansett estate in January, A-list homeowners have been pretty quiet on the East End this year. Drew Barrymore is shaking things up, however, and adding a bit of celebrity sparkle by listing her 1.7-acre Sagaponack spread for $8.45 million.

The enchanting property in centered by an authentic, circa-1920 barn that was converted into the main residence. Inside, light and bright open spaces are grounded by features like wood beams and rustic tiles, exuding inviting warmth. Airy yet cozy, luxurious yet relaxed: Isn’t that what Hamptons style is all about?

Seven bedrooms and an array of chic living areas await for weekend hosting, which is often front-of-mind for buyers looking this far east. Of course, outdoor spaces are equally important usually. Barrymore’s property has a plethora of glass doors that lead out to patios, lush lawns and colorful gardens, a pool, pool house, and bocce ball court.

According to Mansion Global, the actress paid $5.5 million for this property in 2019, quietly purchasing it through an LLC. Barrymore’s talk show films in New York City, so she has been splitting her time between the Big Apple and the Hamptons for the last few years.
