Award-winning actress and producer Emma Stone and her comedian husband Dave McCary are selling an Austin, Texas property they scooped up not too long ago. The good news for whoever buys this property? The celebrity couple executed a stellar renovation with plans to move in, but have since decided to list it—so whoever nabs it will be the first to reside here since the gorgeous transformation.
The A-list couple worked with award-winning architecture firm Cuppett Kilpatrick on the elegant restoration. It’s no surprise that the project, set to be finished this summer, is on track to be stunning. After all, Stone has owned a number of gorgeous homes including a cool Malibu spread and a whimsical Westwood house. According to a PR rep for the listing agents, the sellers’ business interests in New York have expanded, which is why moving to Austin didn’t end up working out at this point in their lives. Their Texas home is now on the market and priced at $26.5 million.
Tucked on just over an acre in the city’s exclusive Tarrytown neighborhood, the home totals seven bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two partial baths. Details include herringbone and brick floors, marble fireplace surrounds, arched doorways, and leaded glass windows. They say everything is bigger in Texas, and you can certainly live large here. Destined for all kinds of entertaining, gathering spaces abound inside and out. Vast living areas, a screened porch overlooking the pool, two new kitchens, and lawn space beckon for parties.
As for the couple’s real estate endeavors in New York? You’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for any moves they’re making there. Eric Moreland and Diane Humphreys of Forbes Global Properties hold the listing.
