Design LA Legends 2025
Design Los Angeles will produce Legends, the annual design festival that has become a cornerstone of the industry. Marking its 15th year in 2025, the event is a 4-day celebration of Los Angeles’ creative spirit.
The LCDQ has joined forces with Apparatus, BDDW, Blackman Cruz, GARDE, Holly Hunt, JF Chen, Ken Fulk, Lawson-Fenning, Nathan Turner, Nickey Kehoe, and more exceptional Los Angeles showrooms and galleries to form Design Los Angeles. These celebrated names join an already exceptional roster of showrooms and galleries that have made Los Angeles a magnet for designers, architects, and tastemakers from around the world.
Rebecca Birdwell, the organization’s new director, has been instrumental in driving the rebrand. “Design Los Angeles represents an exciting opportunity to expand our reach and deepen the city’s influence on the global design stage,” says Birdwell. “This evolution allows us to celebrate LA’s incredible diversity, foster new connections, and promote innovation within the design community.” Philip Stites, Board President of Design Los Angeles, reflects on the journey: “Fifteen years ago, my business partner, Robert Garcia, and I came together with other local showroom owners to promote the area during a time of economic hardship. What started as a neighborhood effort has grown into something far beyond our imagination. With fresh leadership and an expanded vision, Design Los Angeles is poised to lead the city’s design community into a new era.” Mark your calendars for the 15th annual Legends May 5-8. Celebrate LA’s vibrant design community while also supporting the effort to rebuild the communities most deeply affected by the fires. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to support the victims of LA fires.
