The mudroom, a drop-zone for the kids to shed their outerwear, also got a chic revamp. It has the same hardware and cabinetry as the kitchen, and plenty of room to organize and tuck away items.
Aesthetically, the designers focused on light colors and mixing metals to devise a transitional white kitchen that is a breath of fresh air. Its timeless, balanced design shines with custom Plain & Fancy inset cabinetry, honed Carrara marble, ceramic white subway tile, oil-rubbed bronze hardware, and a silgranite sink.
Of course, Nukitchens also carefully selected all the right Sub-Zero Wolf appliances to fit this family and their unique needs. As the client was an expert wine importer, having a striking wine fridge to store and display bottles was a must. The client’s close friend, a designer with a penchant for decor, handpicked finishing touches like the gold pendant lights, floral orange wallpaper, and wooden bar stools.
By crafting a neutral-toned kitchen with timeless appeal and opening it to the rest of the house, Nukitchens gave their clients a sublime heart of the home rooted in longevity.
