Why have one summer home when you can have two? Take it from Fashion photographer Antoine Verglas who owned two neighboring Amagansett beach homes until recently when he sold both to an undisclosed buyer, according to exclusive agent Carol Nobbs of Douglas Elliman. The two properties, at 61 and 55 Dunes Lane in Amagansett, were listed together for $12.5 million, and individually for $5.6 million and $6.9 million, respectively. Verglas, known for his documentary-style photography, has photographed Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Stephanie Seymour, for GQ, Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Elle and Playboy. He’s also shot portraits of celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Gina Gershon, Penelope Cruz, and a nude magazine spread for British GQ in 2000 of Melania Trump, which were used in attack ads against Trump in the 2016 election. A new owner can now enjoy the ultimate in relaxation at these two private properties, which boast gorgeous oceanfront views and plenty of space. The property at 61 Dunes is situated on 1.3 acres, features three bedrooms, two baths and an outdoor pool. Meanwhile, 55 Dunes occupies 1.5 acres and comes with five bedrooms and three baths.
