A Swedish flag flutters above the front door. The stained-glass windows on the upper floor are original to the 1929 house; the siding is painted a traditional Swedish blue.
In the dining room, an iron chandelier designed by Kristina Lindhe is filled with an arrangement of ivy pots and candles; Artwood chairs surround the antique table. The hutch is a family heirloom.
Kristina Lindhe designed the wood and slate dining table in the kitchen (this spread). The teak chairs are from AllinWood and the pendant lights are by Louis Poulsen. The room’s parquet floors are smoked oak.
