Gwyneth Paltrow's Tribeca Apartment Sells for Over Asking

Gwyneth Paltrow was finally successful at consciously uncoupling from her Tribeca penthouse, which has had a turbulent history on and off the market with various price tags. She didn’t get nearly what she originally asked—$14.25M—but the home did close for $10,727,000, which was over the final $9.95M list price.

We once described this apartment as a “pale, dreamy cloud,” thanks in part to its penchant for plush carpeting, “fuzzy nap zones” and whimsical sofa swing. It remains unclear if any of the aforementioned elements were included in the sale price, but the new owner will get the white-on-white kitchen complete with white marble countertops and painted floors and the master bedroom’s four custom walk-in closets. The entire 3,892-square-foot space was designed by Roman & Williams and features 11-foot pressed tin ceilings, rows of classic arched windows, multiple terraces and skylights in the entry and library.

Compass’s Peter Conn represented the listing. Curbed reported the sale.
