In an off-market deal, Harvey Weinstein has sold his 1920s style Tudor cottage in West Hollywood for $1.8 million. In February, well after the allegations of his sexual misconduct and assault surfaced, this listing came onto the luxury lease market for $7,495/month. Prior to that his daughter, Remy, had called the unique residence home. The sale comes as no real surprise, as Weinstein and his estranged wife have been unloading properties since the news broke late last year. Such properties include his chic Westport estate and a luxurious Sag Harbor mansion.According to Variety, the discreet buyer is a high power attorney at Live Nation, and it looks like Weinstein will make a bit of a profit since he originally purchased the property for $1.55 million in 2015 through an LLC.However the deal went down, the buyer is surely delighted with the 1,396-square-foot gem. It’s full of retro charm with unusual details and stylings such as mint hardwood floors, a powder blue refrigerator, and lots of whimsical wallpaper. The space is limited, but it’s all arranged smartly to make the most of all the square footage, especially the kitchen which is confined to just one wall. Other lovely details include exposed beams, Moroccan tiles and an exposed brick fireplace.
