Historical Society of Palm Beach County’s “Palm Beach by Design”

On March 12, the Historical Society of Palm Beach County welcomed an esteemed group of design leaders for “Palm Beach by Design: Then & Now,” a panel exploring the town’s architectural and landscape legacy. Held at the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum, the conversation brought together interior designer Lisa Erdmann, landscape architect Robert Bell, builder Joe Morin of Hedrick Brothers Construction, and architect John Melhorn, moderated by Jeff Sophir. Together they reflected on how evolving tastes, modern regulations, and new residential demands are shaping luxury homes while reinforcing the enduring importance of preservation and thoughtful design in Palm Beach County.
