A Hollywood Couple Seeks to Sell Their Colorful and Cool Studio City Home of Almost 30 Years

Awards season is in full swing, with the Oscars this Sunday marking one of its biggest nights. While viewers see A-listers and nominees front and center on the red carpet, the voice of the Oscars less seen and more heard. Cedering Fox, a prominent voice actress who has played this role at the Oscars multiple times. And, right now, she and her husband, prominent music agent Brian Loucks, are selling their Los Angeles home. Both familiar with theatrical sets and showbiz, it’s no wonder their Studio City pad is pretty rad.

The Hollywood couple is asking $5,650,000 for their mid-century modern with quite an exuberant presence. It’s certainly the product of two creatives: Bold colors meet the eye immediately upon entering and keep flowing through the spaces. Bright green in the living room, red in the laundry room, teal in the backyard, and yellow in the kitchen are just a few of the style choices they made. The home dates back to 1953 and is complete with five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. Other highlights include a wall of windows overlooking the grounds, pops of patterns and stripes, a sound studio, and a swimming pool.

The unabashed residence’s groovy aesthetic isn’t the only selling point. With Loucks’ depth in the music world, the couple has hosted “Living Room Series” and “WordTheatre” in their very own living/piano room. John Mayer, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Kieth Urban, Florence & the Machine, and Maggie Rogers have been among the performers to croon here. David Lynch, Harry Styles, and Questlove have also lounged in this very house as the audience for the various artists.

Alexandra Pfeifer of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing, which is on the market for the first time in almost 30 years.
