What could be more stylish than buying a Manhattan co-op renovated by New York-based interior designer Shawn Henderson? The designer is asking $1.6 million for his completely revamped West Village loft, which reflects his personal (and exceptional) taste. Henderson, a master of designing beautiful spaces, bought the property three years ago for $1.15 million, but is now seeking a move to the Gramercy Park area.Reimagining the apartment from top to bottom, the designer knocked down a wall to create a more airy floor plan. Now, the grand living area flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area, a far more chic set up for entertaining. The master bedroom, and only bedroom, is a serene oasis yet highly functional with floor-to-ceiling closets and a one-of-a-kind washer and dryer system included. In place of the den, there is now a home office, powder room, and walk-in closet.Henderson enjoyed the gut renovation and truly made the place his own, telling Mansion Global that the only thing he kept from the original interiors was the oak flooring. After stripping the lacquer off the wood, it is now restored it back to its natural bearings.Michael J. Franco of Compass holds the rare listing.
