Johnny Depp isn’t interested in auditioning for the role of property owner any longer, it seems. Last year, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor put five of his Los Angeles penthouses on the market, the first of which sold for $2.545M in October. Now, The Lexington Herald-Leader is reporting the 41-acre Kentucky horse farm Depp has owned since 1995 will be sold at auction on September 15.
The farm initially hit the market in December 2016 at $3.4 million and then dropped to $2.9 million. The price cut took place a month after Depp’s second L.A. penthouse sold for $3.09M.
According to reports, the property’s location is primed for residential development, as it sits next to Westmoreland subdivision.

Interior photos of the 6,000-square-foot brick house in its current state reveal a traditional interior aesthetic, vastly different from the art deco accents that defined several of Depp’s L.A. penthouses, including the one that sold earlier this month for $1.82M.
