Fresh off listing their $7.9 million Nashville mansion, reality star Kristin Cavallari and retired quarterback Jay Cutler have purchased a lovely hobby farm not too far away. Their new abode, located in semi-rural Franklin thirty minutes outside of Nashville, was scooped up for just $4.23 million. As the lower price tag might suggest, Cavallari and Cutler are indeed downsizing, but don’t worry about them fitting into their smaller digs. Their new 10,307-square-foot home, which sits on a 10.04-acre lot, boasts eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and two half baths. The newly-minted farmers also purchased 35 additional acres of surrounding land for $1.2 million, according to Variety.Known as “Highbrow Hill”, the estate’s house highlights the terrain in its title. A welcoming wraparound porch offers sweeping views of the landscape’s stunning hills and valleys. Despite its gargantuan, McMansion-esque size, the residence is more reminiscent of a traditional farmhouse. Hardwood floors, exposed ceiling beams, reclaimed wood paneling, and mill work detailing throughout the house contribute to a more laid-back vibe.Of course, it also offers stylish features necessary for it to be Cavallari-approved. The copper freestanding tub in the master bathroom is one of many showstoppers.Cavallari and Cutler aren’t the only big names in the Franklin real estate game. Last year, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban listed their estate in the town for $3.4 million.
