When the scent fades, sculpture remains. French crystal maker Lalique and Japanese high jeweler Mikimoto have joined together to launch Fortune Leaves, Crystal Edition—a limited-edition fragrance. Lalique’s Artistic and Creative Director Marc Larminaux dreamt up the crystal flacon, shaped like a pearl with a cap covered in clovers. Lift the cap and a hidden four-leaf clover embedded on the bottle is revealed. “This design was inspired by the enchanting moment of discovering a four-leaf clover – an unexpected symbol of luck and beauty,” Larminaux says.
Limited to just ten pieces worldwide and priced at $28,000, Fortune Leaves is designed to be more than a perfume. It’s a collectible sculpture—leaving behind a story that lingers long after the final note disappears.
