Five months after being placed on the market for $8.25 million with Corcoran’s Robby Browne, Chris Kann and Jennifer Ireland, the Observer reports that the West Chelsea apartment of late fashion designer L’Wren Scott has entered contract at $6.95 million.
The 2,328-square-foot duplex is located in the Annabelle Selldorf Architects-designed 200 Eleventh, and the new owners will never have to look for city parking again, since the ninth-floor unit has private parking space next to it accessed via a car elevator. The rest of the home is ultra-chic and features a double-height great room, a stainless steel kitchen with high-end appliances and three en-suite bedrooms. Floor-to-ceiling steel casement windows flood the apartment with light and provide both eastern and western exposure for gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. The view is especially impressive from the second-floor master suite, which has a French balcony overlooking the Hudson River.
