Leonardo DiCaprio clearly did not want to take any chances of his longtime LA abode languishing on the market. First listed in October for $1.749 million, the Spanish-style hacienda recently got a price cut to $1.595 million, and found a buyer less than 24 hours later. Now in contract for an unknown amount, the 1931-built house will soon be taken off the celebrity’s hands.Perched on the hills above Silver Lake Reservoir and tucked behind gates for added privacy, the secluded residence is quite charming. It offers 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms within its 3,560-square-feet, but that’s just the blueprint. The home’s details, like wood-beamed ceilings and imported tiles, are what surely sold a buyer once the price dipped. The deal hasn’t closed yet, so there’s still time to swoop in and nab the lush property if you hurry. Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland has the Los Angeles listing, which Realtor.com first reported is in contract.
