Liberace’s Glamorous Yet Cozy Former West Hollywood Pad Asks $3.6M

Dubbed ‘Mr. Showmanship’ and famous for his longstanding residencies in Las Vegas, Liberace set roots across the West Coast. His former townhome in La La Land has now hit the market, asking $3.599 million.

Far from where he was born and raised in Wisconsin, Los Angeles was where Liberace rose to fame, lending itself to his sense of pizzazz and love of the stage. The singer/actor/pianist’s career finished with two Emmys and two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, according to the Los Angeles Times. Before his death in 1987, he lived in this very Hollywood home through the ‘70s. Not to mention, Barbara Sinatra, the fourth wife of singer Frank Sinatra, is also a former resident.

Serendipitously aligning with the same year as one of Liberace’s first performances, the home was built in 1937. Bursting with glitzy celeb history, the Hollywood Regency-style pad is characterized by its cozy yet glamorous interiors. The updated and contemporary kitchen and light yet rich living and dining areas burst with flair from Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Totaling at just over 2,300 square feet, the approachable layout holds three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Topping that interior square footage is a stunning rooftop terrace that captures splendid views of the Sunset Strip, as well as an updated fitness center.
