Longtime Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star, Mariska Hargitay, and her actor husband Peter Hermann just listed their Upper West Side townhouse for $10.75 million. Hargitay has played Olivia Benson on the wildly successful show since it premiered in 1999, and hence has spent years living and filming in the show’s setting: New York City. The series is in it’s twentieth season and there’s no telling how many seasons it has left, so this recent real estate activity could hint at the future of the show, or could simply mean the duo wants to find a new abode to call home.Located at 45 West 84th Street, the almost 7,000-square-foot stunner offers a gorgeous 18-foot façade and 5-6 bedrooms. The residence is certainly swankier than Benson’s digs since it has a whopping six stories, plus double-height ceilings, a garden, and a sun room with two terraces.Interiors are colorful and clean, but comfort is not forgotten with plenty of plush sofas and chairs situated throughout the house. The kitchen is painted yellow and minimalist in style, creating a whimsical yet sophisticated feel.A team of agents made up of Corcoran’s Robby Browne, Chris Kann, Jennifer Ireland, and Stribling’s Alexa Lambert has the listing. The Wall Street Journal first reported the story.
