The home is new construction and has views of the Long Island sand. The master bath design was based off of the floor mosaic title.
When the home owner met Michelle at the first site meeting, she opened up her trunk and said, “I don’t have a preference on anything you want to select furnish-wise at the house, but you have to use this title.”
A blend of dsran white marble and Spanish grey, the bath blends the elegance of white marble with warmer hues including the taupe painted cabinetry.
The project, based in Riverside (Greenwich), Connecticut, was completed in January 2015
A lively family of seven needed a place for gathering, cooking and relaxing with family and friends. They fell in love with the hammered stainless steel counters and cantilevered shelving, so Sage Design decided to take it one step further and create a wall of stainless steel cabinetry.
The combination of the ceiling-height white marble backsplash and counters, the stainless steel counters, shelves and cabinets, and the wooden cabinetry meet to create a feeling that is both simple and warm.
Sage Design wanted the dark navy island to create a good dark/light contrast with the stainless counters. The ROHL faucets and farmhouse sinks add a touch of simple beauty to the space. This kitchen gets a work out every day with many kids’ meals served at the island. Sage Design was able to create a unique, beautiful space that would hold up to constant use. The project, located in Southport, Connecticut, was completed in January 2017 and was published in Connecticut Cottages and Gardens in 2017.
