By siting the structure on a hillside, architect Paul Masi was able to incorporate several different styles of stairs into the design, along with native plantings, such as grasses.

Asian Fusion | In a guest room, a work by Raphael Mazzucco hangs above a teak bed from Indonesia. Homeowner Alicia Zarou Scanlon bought the side cabinets in Beijing and commissioned the smaller work by Vietnamese artist Hong Viet Dung.
