With a new job comes great responsibility, and New York Rangers head coach David Quinn is taking that sentiment to heart while choosing a city residence to call home. Quinn sprung for a $2.6 million Chelsea loft, located less than half a mile away from his new office, Madison Square Garden. While looking for a place to settle down, Quinn had the choice between bustling Manhattan or suburban Westchester near the team’s training facility. The decision was an easy one, Quinn explains to Mansion Global, “I thought to myself, if I’m going to coach the New York Rangers than I should live in the city.”Stark white and effortlessly chic, the condo spans over 2,066-square-feet and displays grand 11-foot ceilings. The main living space features a spacious sitting area that blends into a massive dining table situated off the kitchen. A walk-in closet and five-fixture bathroom branch off the master suite where one can relax and decompress. A second room, that currently functions as a den, can be converted into a second bedroom if necessary.Todd Lewin and Michael Rubin of Core NYC had the listing which sold for nearly $1 million less than the original asking price of $3.595 million.
