Orlando Bloom Wants $12M for His Colorful Yet Laidback Longtime Malibu Residence

After 15 years of calling this dreamy Pacific Coast Highway address home, Orlando Bloom is looking to part ways with it. According to PEOPLE, Bloom purchased the circa-1974 Malibu residence in 2011 while married to Miranda Kerr and lived there for roughly a decade. However, he has since moved to another California spot and hasn’t resided here for the past few years. This change recently inspired the actor to finally let it go, listing the beachy abode for $12 million.

The rectangular house—defined by its open spaces, ocean views, and numerous terraces—is full of light and colorful touches. Whether you’re in the large, green kitchen or one of the spacious four bedrooms, exuberant hues have a way of following you. Tiles, paint, and art all hint at the actor’s personal home style, which leans cheerful and expressive rather than neutral and muted. Yet, the home is still abundantly laidback and calming. Especially if you’re relaxing by the pool Bloom built, on one of the decks looking out to the coast, or in living spaces with rustic wood beams. Of course, it helps that El Matador State Beach is steps away, too.

For the $12 million price tag, the 4,181-square-foot abode also offers a host of luxurious amenities. The home gym, outdoor barrel sauna and spa, and hot tub beckon for indulgent daily wellness. Perhaps these were part of the renovations Bloom made to the property, which were reportedly extensive.

More than a refuge, this home is where Bloom’s son grew up and parting with it is bittersweet for the “Lord of the Rings” star. Chris Cortazzo of Compass holds the Malibu listing in a gated community.
