Savannah Guthrie’s Glitzy Tribeca Home Gets a Price Cut

Usually news anchors read the headlines. ‘Today,’ one prominent news anchor is the headline. Savannah Guthrie, a longtime co-host of NBC’s TODAY show, listed her NYC loft for $7.1 million at the beginning of the year, but it just got a price change to $6.5 million.

Guthrie’s Tribeca digs, where she has lived with her husband and two children, span a full floor totaling 3,735 square feet. The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath residence was thoroughly renovated by the architects at Ike Kligerman Barkley and designer Monique Gibson, resulting in a glamorous and sophisticated Manhattan home.

The unit is totally private, with an elevator opening directly into the foyer. The great room is sun-soaked thanks to wall-to-wall south-facing windows. Much like Guthrie’s responsibility as a journalist, attention to detail is evident in all the careful design choices. There is custom millwork throughout and sleek glass in all the right places. The luxurious chef’s kitchen is complete with Gaggenau appliances and a black Saint Laurent marble island, just to add some fashion prestige.

With Guthrie’s early wake-ups, it comes as no surprise that the primary suite is absolutely dreamy. A dressing room with a wall of mirrored closets and a home office let you prepare for the day ahead, while a fireplace and large bathroom with a soaking tub are perfect for winding down.

It’s hard to imagine why Guthrie would want to rid herself of such a stunning home, but perhaps she is looking to move closer to Rockefeller Center, where the TODAY show is filmed. Cortnee Glasser of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the camera-ready listing.
