Following the passing of world-famous, rock-and-roll musician Ozzy Osbourne last year, Sharon Osbourne is seeking to sell their lavish Hancock Park home. The celebrity couple initially listed their longtime L.A. residence in 2022, pricing it at $18 million, but ultimately pulled it off the market. The 11,565-square-foot mansion is now asking a slightly-trimmed $17 million.
Designed by architect A.K. Kellogg, the property showcases romantic architecture with arched doorways and windows, ornate carvings, and grand fireplaces and woodwork. The Osbournes’ flair for dramatics, reflected in spaces like the deep-red home theater and painted ceilings on the second floor, play into the architectural and historic grandeur marvelously.
The chef’s kitchen feels far more fresh and pastoral, perhaps nodding to their English roots with its light and delicate presence. Of course, it is still very spacious and ready for high-impact hosting, as is the resort-like backyard with a covered patio, an alfresco dining area with a pizza oven and barbeque, a large pool and spa, and manicured landscaping. For overnight guests, the home has seven bedrooms. The primary suite is clearly worthy of rock n’ roll royalty, and perhaps even true royalty, with its unbelievable dressing room and opulent bathroom perfect for glamming up for major red carpet events.
Long home to the Osbournes but now available for someone new, the show-stopping Hancock Park abode is up for sale with Jonah Wilson and Josh Greer of Carolwood Estates. Further celebs who have called the prestigious neighborhood home include Shonda Rhimes, Kat Von D, and more.
