Nicole Scherzinger is selling her cool Los Angeles home, nestled right above the Sunset Strip in Hollywood Hills. The musician, dancer, and former member of The Pussycat Dolls was initially drawn to the view, which, on a clear day spans from the city to the coast. “I bought this house because when I walked in I saw this beautiful view,” Scherzinger told Architectural Digest in a 2019 tour of the home. Of course, she still needed to put her stamp on it.
The singer has owned the residence for eight years and told AD in her video tour, “I’m not home very often, but when I am home, I like to stay home.” And so, she created a complete oasis, that is equal parts glamorous and cozy. Scherzinger knocked down a wall to open up the main living area, so that upon entering, there are expansive views and light flooding in through a floor-to-ceiling glass door.
Currently, the four-story home is filled with a muted palette complemented by the singer’s art collection. While there are a total of four bedrooms and five bathrooms, Scherzinger’s primary suite is the star. It includes a marble fireplace, steam shower, soaking tub, vanity, and a private balcony. “I feel literally like I’m on top of the world,” Scherzinger said in 2019 from her bedroom’s balcony, which is complete with a firepit.
Though the home boasts an ultra-comfy movie theater that features posters from movies and plays the homeowner has participated in (Men in Black 3, Dirty Dancing, Moana), the ultimate entertaining destination is outside. A covered indoor/outdoor lounge overlooks the city and swimming pool/jacuzzi. The singer says she “went to the ends of the Earth” to create the six-foot deep pool on her hillside property.
James Harris and David Parnes of Carolwood Estates share the 4,602-square-foot celebrity listing.
